Soprano Singer
Our soprano singer graduated with honours as a concert soloist from the Royal Academy of Music. She has performed many times at the leading London concert venues such as The South Bank Centre, St. Martin-in-the-fields, and St John's, Smith Square, in performances of Mozart's Requiem and Handel's Messiah as the alto soloist, and singing opera arias with full orchestra to her own arrangements, plus numerous performances of rarer works by Vivialdi. She was invited to sing Handel arias with the Melbourne Chamber Orchestra at the city's new recital halls in 2019, and the following month performed an authentic recreation of Vivaldi's music in Venice as both bass and soprano soloist. She has also sung with the Latvian Chamber Orchestra in Riga in the presence of the British Ambassador, which was recorded for the country's equivalent of Radio 3. In the UK, she has recorded at Abbey Road Studios, and at the Cadogan Hall for the sound track of a Palm d'or winning film. She has also undertaken recordings for EMI at the Albert Hall, for Radio 3 in London and Bristol, and was the soloist on Classic FM's first Christmas evening broadcast, singing live from St. Martin-in-the-fields. She has performed with the BBC Symphony chorus at the Proms, and in performances of Don Giovanni and La Boheme at Sadler's Wells theatre. She also performs a wide variety of swing, jazz and rat-pack music from the 1920s-1950s. She has sung this repertoire for countless weddings and events locally, with piano accompaniment.
